How to take care of your teeth after you ski and snowboard
There’s no better way to protect your teeth than by practicing brushing.
Aspen ski resorts are offering a special treatment to the people of Tahoe to help protect their teeth.
As long as you are not wearing dentures or masks, you can use their special toothpaste to help keep your teeth and gums fresh.
“We are looking for volunteers who want to help us and our dental staff to work together to make sure everyone’s teeth are protected,” said Dr. Michael Johnson, Aspen Ski Resort’s Senior Dental Care Coordinator.
The resort is accepting volunteers to help with toothpaste maintenance and cleanings.
The program is not meant to replace regular dental care.
It is meant to keep your dental health and well-being in check, said Dr.-Pauline Johnson, an Aspen dentist.
“The goal of the program is to give you the ability to take regular brushing,” said Johnson.
“We have trained staff who are doing regular brushing and they can do it to protect the teeth and your gums.”
The program will be available at Aspen’s Ski and Snowboard Centre.
If you are a regular visitor to the resort, you are welcome to participate.
