Maui Ski Resorts To Shut Down Due to Hurricanes
Maui, Hawaii — Maui Resort, which owns Steely Hill and Hills resorts, is going to close due to Hurricane Irma.
The resort will be closed until Nov. 18.
The resort announced the closure on its Facebook page.
The hurricane has devastated the tourism industry in Hawaii.
Hawaii had been the only resort in the United States to experience a hurricane.
Hawaii is in the middle of the Southeast Pacific and has some of the driest conditions on the planet.
